Fans Ramp Up On Every Single Task - Please Help!

I bought a fresh new Asus ROG GL503VD with Intel i7-7700HD, GeForce GTX 1050 and 16BG of RAM. The display has 60 Mhz refresh rate. It came with Windows 10 and all new updates are installed. Registries, cache and other slow-down garbage are cleaned regularly. Energy management is put on "balanced".

***I use BitDefender Total Security antivirus and it always performed very well (and light).

So, as you see, it's a really powerful machine, especially for everyday use like browsing etc.

But, I have problems with my fans. This laptop has 2 fans, one for CPU and one for GPU. They are working simultaneously 99,9% of the time. Maybe sometimes, one of them ramps up just a little bit before the other.

THE CASE IS: they are ramping up for 10-15 seconds and then they ramp down on every single task that I perform! For example, when I open a browser. Then, when I open some light text editor or any Microsoft Office program. Also, when I open some kind of programs like antivirus or FTP client etc.

Let's say it's bearable if it happens only when launching a new program, BUT in my case, it's happening while I'm multitasking in my browser (any browser). So, when I open a new tab and perform a search, the fans ramp up immediately (their speed goes from 1500 RPM to 3000 RPM and backward after cca. 15 seconds). It's also happening without a trigger while I'm on Facebook (which is a little bit more demanding process than surfing the random website)

That is just annoying and distracting!

It's a little bit better when the laptop is on battery mode. Maybe because it lowers the power... But, it still happens.

I checked the temperature of the CPU/GPU and it's alright. Almost always around 40-50 C. Also, the system isn't overloaded while doing all that work (I checked the Task Manager in Windows), so it would need additional cooling. It's using less than 5% of CPU resources and about 40% of RAM almost all the time.

I noticed something weird - when I load the system with extra work (let's say I open two browsers, a lot of tabs, music player, and 2 programs), the fans are working much more consistently at cca. 2500 RPM and without ramping up on every new task! They ramp up here and there, but not too often like I described before.

Also, I noticed that they aren't ramping up too often when I launch Windows Task Manager or Asus ROG Gaming Center and monitor system processes in real time (also weird!?).

PLEASE HELP, I was exploring the web to find the solution, but nothing serious so far. I saw the best answers here on Tom's Guide, so I hope someone can push me in the right direction!

Your laptop fans are controlled by bios. So no program can affect it, not even CPU load at 100%. Only temperature can raise or lower it. Go to bios settings after restart. Press F2 or ESC (its one of these dont rememeber asus) just press it loads at boot. When you get timing right you get to BIOS settings, look for fan related setting, you can probably figure it from there if something is wrong.

Also if there is bios update for your particular model you can try that, check first warranty that it covers bios related incidents otherwise its your own gamble. Remember to check with exact model number from manufactor site and follow theyre instructions if you find newer bios rom.

I've always had problems with laptop fans and so has my family, I would contact ASUS seeming the hardware seems current you might be able to have them fix it. Sometimes they do take months which seems not worth it but if you have another computer to use in the time being it would be best to get it fixed. Best of luck
