Hello. I was playing a game but had to restart and my laptop got stuck on asus boot logo. Automatic system repair would only show an empty black screen, diskpart when launched from cmd using a Windows installation disk would freeze and when I got it to work it only showed my HDD 1 out of 5 times until it stopped showing it at all. I managed to re-install Windows after hours of trying, but boot time went from 10 seconds to more than a minute.

I am able to see my HDD in bios, but nowhere else. Not even disk management. It used to be labeled as Disk 1, not I only have Disk 0, which is my SSD.

Laptop specs :

16 GB RAM, Intel i7 7500U 2.7-2.9 GHz, 64 bit Windows 10, 2 TB HDD /st2000lm-1r8174/ that went missing, 512 GB Sandisk SSD.

HDD is not showing up in Device Manager either. I am mostly concerned about the boot time. Could it be because of Windows trying to work with the damaged HDD?
