I need a laptop as soon as possible. I'm going to use it for school purposes, papers and everything so I am going to use it for Microsoft Office. I rarely edit videos, but I do edit videos but not really always. As for gaming, I only play pubg. But, maybe I can't play it always since our internet connection is a bit slow. The chosen laptops are:

Asus ROG GL503VD for 1269$(66k php)
I7-7700HQ
GTX 1050 4gb
128GB SSD + 1 TB HDD
8GB RAM

Asus X542UN 788$(41k php)
I7-8550U
GTX Mx150 4gb
1 tb hdd
4 gb ram

Edit:
I also watch alot of movies

Heya there! The better choice would be the Asus ROG GL503VD. There really isn't much difference between the 7700HQ and the i7 8550U. They have the same core count. The 7700HQ does have a higher clock speed which should help a little bit.

I also checked the mx150. It seems that it's similar to a desktop GT 1030. So it would probably be better to get the gtx 1050 so that you can your new laptop of choice can handle pubg.

If I were you, I'd make my money worth my time and go for the ROG. It would last you a while longer than the Asus one
