i bought new dell inspiron 7559 and trying to install 128GB M.2 solid state drive from old toshiba laptop. when bootup it ask for password that i never set.

It won't ask for a password unless one was put on it. If it is yours, it would have to have been put there by you. If someone else owned the device before you, then you would need to get the password from them. We cannot assist in bypassing passwords. Please read the following thread... http
