Hello! i know that this question was probably asked many times but i could not find a solution that fixed my problem, but i think this forum's community might be helpful.

The issue is that if i connect a mouse and a keyboard do my computer, they won't work. My laptopt is HP ProBook 450 G3.

I noticed that there are yellow triangles near the devices in the device manager, sometimes it shows 2 times the keyboard(i dunno why). In addition, sometimes the keyboard work and sometimes not. I tried to update my BIOS to the latest version, install drivers from iObit pro and it did not seem to work.
I need to point that if i connect a USB to my computer and than restart it, before the troubleshoot screen there's an option to select the keyboard input language, and in that screen my mouse works perfectly fine.
Another thing, i tried to go to the device manager and press uninstall on the mouse&keyboard but it kept refreshing and show them again as if uninstalling did not do a thing.
Also, when i connect the mouse the red light from below(that shows if its connected) is active tho in the keyboard its not(the num lock indicator for example). I tried to run a safe mode(without disconnecting the mouse and keyboard all the way through) without success.
troubleshooter in the settings after i launched windows recognized the problem but did not succeed in finding a solution.
I also hear from time to time the sound of a disconnection(when you remove a cable from a usb port for example, like tananan)

Thanks for anyone who tried to help, and have a good day :)

You must be looking in the wrong site then. Did you look here https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers ? HP Support Assistant. You said you did a BIOS update, you must have gotten that update from this site already.

And if you put in your model in the search you get

Software and driver results for:

HP ProBook 450 G3 Notebook PC
HP ProBook 450...

its not about the usb ports. i'm 100% sure its because of the drivers because if i go to the device manager and press on the mouse it says that the drivers for this device are not installed(in addition to the fact that i tried tons of other solutions) . The problem is i have absolutely no idea where to get the drivers from. If its on HP site, i don't know what to download. Thanks for you replay.

You will not find mouse and keyboard drivers on the laptop support site. You need to install the Chipset and USB drivers for your laptop model.

So you did not check your USB ports with anything else like a flash drive?

I did check with a usb, and it did work.

How do i install the Chipset and the USB drivers?

thanks.

Go to HP website support section, fill out your computer model where they ask, the downloads for your system will show up. They may have a utility also to automatically scan your system and show you what newer drivers are available.
