I am able to enter my user password after restarting my laptop, then it goes to a dark screen. I can see the date and time in the right corner, the windows icon in the bottom left...it goes on and off to the dark screen. There is no mouse accessible. Once in a while a box appears in the centre of the screen which says "Location is unavailable. C:\Users\My name\Desktop is not accessible. Access is denied." I have tried several times to restart it. I have a USB stick with Windows on it, so I can reload it if I could just find a way to get things working again. I would really like to just clean up the computer and take it back to factory settings. I have my data backed up on another computer. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks! (Laptop is an Acer Aspire E1-531-4836)
