Now I'm looking to buy a laptop at about the 800 range. I'm primarily looking at 1050 ti or maybe this 1060 or others if someone could suggest one around the same price? The reason for this post is that I'm just wondering if it's worth buying the 1050 ti because it's new, it wouldn't have problems like the refurbed and better warranties and I'm sure would just last longer and run smoother and cooler plus it would be new only me as the owner. But for about 100 more I could afford the 1060 refurbed but alot of people say it doesn't come with all the hardware it should (such as extra hdd cable and mounting brackets)

So my question would it really be worth going for the 1060 with it being a refurbed or just buying a brand new 1050 ti?

The 1050 ti is 779 but I have a 100 off coupon with the Lenovo website so I could get a mouse and carrying case and still be around 750 brand new. https://www3.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/ideapad/lenovo-legion-y-series-laptops/Legion-Y520/p/88GMY500808

The 1060 https://m.newegg.com/products/N82E16834316212

I'll be using it for light gaming but would be wanting to play games like pubg atleast at medium 60fps. That being the most graphic intense game, what do you guys suggest? Would it be worth buying the new 1050 ti and save maybe 100 or spend the extra and buy the 1060?

Any suggestions would really mean alot I plan to buy in a week or so. I'm leaning more toward the brand new 1050 ti personally just because it seems like the best deal and less problems I would have to deal with over time I feel like. And the fact of the warranties if any problems do arise.

Yeah I really don't want to spend that kind of money and it just end up being a lemon. I think I'm gonna stick with the 1050 for better reliability and price. And personally I think it looks better also.
