I'm planning on buying either dell inspiron 7567/lenovo legion y520 vs asus fx553

Similar specs but, the local asus fx553 only have 1050 ti 2gb

looking to play PUBG and GTA V

There must be a typo somewhere in the ASUS listing. It is my understanding that if it says '1050' it could be 2GBs or 4GBs; if it says '1050 TI' it's always 4GBs, TI indicating the bigger version.

For GTA V I would definitely recommend 4GBs of VRAM.

Looks like your right. Tried looking at Asus's website and manual but Asus's spec just says Nvidia and manual has no mention of vram or specs so don't have much of concrete evidence to go by except for sites you provided.

So looks like 1050ti can also come in 2gb flavors in notebooks.

ASUS FX753VE-GC111T however does describe 2gb/4gb variants at Asus rather than just saying Nvidia.

To your original question, 2gb for 1050ti should be plenty anyway, its not likely you'll be pacing it with 2k/4k resolutions. 4GB would have been better if its optional in your picks but not a deal breaker.

When talking desktop 1050/ti gpus yeah theres a notable clear difference but seems notebooks have their own versions.

They all have the same cpu/ram/storage config so they'll perform similar. ASUS FX753VE-GC111T i'd favor more because it's certain this model comes with an option for 1050Ti 4GB model.
