I'm looking for a good gaming laptop that could serve as a desktop replacement. I travel often and it just makes more logical sense to invest into a laptop rather than upgrade my desktop any further. I would like if the laptop could run GTA V and PUBG on very high settings with at least 60 fps.

Looking at the 1080 model I noticed some review bashing the thermals, however I have little knowledge when it comes to laptop thermals, would this heavily impede gaming? I dont plan on ever playing with it on my lap or where it wouldn't have access to fresh intake.

For the thermals, it may thermal throttle but I do not believe it will ever get that hot. If you play in areas where there is access to fresh intake, or not play it on your lap, or where there is a light wind coming in you will not face to big of a problem from thermals.
