So I gave my friend my laptop back in 2015 when I ended up getting a new one. (reason I got a new one is because the screen was cracked and wasn t worth repairing) and recently he gave it back to me (he repaired it btw) once he got a new pc. This laptop is capable of gaming, I used to play black ops 3 on min settings, dying light on min and a few other games. But somehow, idk why it keeps freezing. The mouse will become un-responsive, the display will be frozen and keyboard wont work. It is kind of a pattern, whenever I only have one application open its fine, but say Im on google chrome and then go to device manager itll freeze. But I did manage to install steam and play h1z1 (it was like 20-25 fps lol) and then I right clicked h1z1 in the task bar to close it and it froze. I always have to restart the computer to fix it. Now I have downloaded nvidia geforce experience and tried looking for driver updates on the gpu. I also did a complete fresh install of windows 10, I did a disk check and memory check and no errors occurred. Everything is normal in task manager, disk usage isnt high, cpu isnt high, memory isnt high. I also disabled windows defender, the touchscreen and reset the virtual memory before reinstalling windows. Someone recently suggested doing a battery check and everything was normal plus I doubt it'd be the battery, because recently I left a 10 hour yt video running and the laptop froze, but the audio was still there so i think its the display. Im thinking it is a hard drive issue even though there werent any errors during the check it just seems like it. Its just like a weird glitch. If anyone could help id much appreciate it!
