Hey there,

I have a crazy problem. Time ago some keys of my keyboard were not working. So I decided to change the keyboard.
After trying with two other keyboards, other keys were not working. So I thought that the problem was the motherboard. Indeed today I received my new motherboard, but the same problem appear !
Can someone help me please ? I really dont anderstant the issue..

Try the following...

1. Uninstall the keyboard driver.
2. Reboot the computer (without reinstalling the driver).
3. When it restarts, it should reinstall the driver on its own.

If this doesn't work, you may wish to try connecting an external keyboard and see if it works fine. If it does, then it could be the keys themselves that are the issue.

You may also want to try updating the Synaptics Driver if the above doesn't help.

Thanks for your answer, but I'm running an ubuntu distrib throw a bootable usb key .
I've tried to "dpkg-reconfigure keyboard-configuration", but it didn't work.
I haven't any usb keyboard for the moment. But the keystrokes didn't work also in the BIOS, I mean the arrow keystroke.. So strange.
I don't think that the problem is the keys themselves, because I've tried on 3 differents compatible keyboards, and the "broken keys" are not the same when I connect another.
