Gaming Laptops 600$

Hi!Today I decided my old laptop was pretty much lagging on a lot of stuff...So I want to change it.Since im broke and my parents think pcs are a waste of time they wont give me more than 600$ for a laptop.Any ideas?I dont want a god pc,just one that runs smoothly on games,not new games,just “standard games” such as maybe Paladins or something.Thanks.

You are about $200 short of a decent lower end gaming laptop, This is not too bad for lower spec games https

The best laptop you can get is the following 15.6" Acer Aspire with a quad core i5-8250u CPU and nVidia mx150 for about $588 (used to be $600).

The mx150 is considered a mainstream dedicated GPU. But if it was released 2 years ago instead of recently, it would have been considered powerful enough as a "gaming" GPU... but just barely.

The mx150 is the successor to the nVidia 940mx (the former mainstream dedicated GPU) and it is actually a pretty good increase in performance. See link below for some benchmarks. Just keep in mind that the mx150 is not even considered an entry level "gaming" GPU. That would be the decently more powerful GTX 1050 that are in laptops that costs about $750.
