Asus Vivobook S15 Gaming Performance

I assume you are looking at a version with the nVidia mx150. However, the only Asus Vivobook S15 I have seen with the mx150 are the ones with the i7-8550u CPU. The mx150 is a decent GPU, but it is not considered a "gaming GPU". It's performance is between that of the GTX 950m and GTX 960m. If this was released 2 years ago it would have been great, but not at this point in time. The mx150 is basically that laptop version of the GT 1030 desktop GPU.

While the mx150 is definitely more powerful than Intel HD 620, it is likely to meet your expectations. If you want to play "AAA games" smoothly with high settings, then the general recommendation is to buy a laptop with a GTX 1050 ti or GTX 1060. Of course, performance depends on the specific game. While games like Wolfenstein II: The New Colosus and the Witcher 3 are both "AAA games", the Witcher 3 is definitely a more demanding game.
