I just bought a new battery for my Dell XPS 15 (L501x model from 2010).
The battery is recognized and it says it is plugged in and charging, but it never goes beyond 0% charge. Tried 2 different ac adapters, same thing. Old battery charges just fine (but it doesn't hold the charge anymore because it's 5 years old).
If I remove the battery, the laptop works very well plugged in. I tried rebooting and updating windows. FYI, it runs on windows 7 64bit.
