set up vcr/dvd combo to smart tv & xfinity cable

Trying to hook up a zenith vcr/dvd combo to samsung smart tv and xfinity cable...tv and xfinity working fine...having trouble setting up vcr/dvd to tv....I need to know what cables go to tv and what cables go to cable box....Thank You

Without models numbers we don't know what connections you have available.
For playback the VCR/DVD would connect with composite video plus audio cable.
For recording it depends on what output the xfinity box has and what inputs the VCR/DVD has. You may need some type of splitter and/or converter box to get them connected.
