I am able to find a very cheap i7 3630 used and was wondering if I could upgrade and then Use an external Gpu adapter to pair it with a good Gpu

Could you please recommend good gpu and i can upgrade.

My budget is about 10 k for every thing and the cpu is 4k leaving me with 6 k and i don't mind using Used parts

(All prices in rupees as i live in India)

No, the i7 won't fit.

Your laptop uses the PGA 988 socket, so the CPU is not soldered to the mainboard. There's also the BGA1288 socket which is the same but with soldered CPU, which isn't what you have - luckily.

So if you really want to, you could probably upgrade your CPU, but there are two potential problems:
1. It's rather complicated. You should trust yourself to be able to do it.
2. The BIOS from Acer might not be compatible with any other CPU.

Also, the new CPU must have the same or a lower TDP, otherwise it might overheat.
