I have a five year old Toshiba satellite that's been taking five to ten minutes to open any browser, media player, document, or whatever. I decided to remove windows 10 and reinstall windows 8 from the three discs I created when I bought it. I used the toshiba recovery wizard and somehow managed to delete all data and partitions from the hard disk. After loading all three discs the computer asks for the next disc, but there is not another one. Is there any hope for this machine? I appreciate any help I can get.

If you had Windows 10 on it, you can download the setup of that from MS and use that to install the OS. However, programs taking a long time to open can be due to a failing hard drive, so a clean Windows setup would not do much for you if that is the case.
