How to drain laptop battery fast without using it?

I have to discharge my laptop to reset its circuit gates but i cant use it as it wont turn on until i discharge it. So what should I do?

You don't want to discharge TOO fast. That battery is not designed for ultra-fast discharge. Radio controlled car racers used to use a car headlight as a resistive load to discharge batteries.

Hi, just remove the battery and the adapter, hold the power button for a minute, plug in the adapter and turn on the laptop.

Battery is probably built-in, if it is a newer laptop. :D
