I have a direct tv receiver hooked up to an epson powerlite W29 and to an old receiver that has multiple RCA inputs and outputs. I have the direct TV hooked up through S-Video and sound through some of the old receivers multiple RCA inputs and outputs. That works fine. I also have a roku 3 hooked up to the same epson powerlite W29 through HDMI. HDMI carries both video and audio. The video works but not the audio. I want to hook the HDMI audio up to the same old receiver that has multiple RCA inputs and outputs. I have two or three RCA outputs available on the old receiver. Is thIs this possible? Is there an adaptor that will allow me to do this (convert HDMI audio to RCA audio)? Any help would be appreciated.

You can use an HDMI input selector with audio extraction.

Connect all your sources to the inputs. The HDMI out goes to the projector. The audio out of the switch goes to your receiver.
