Solved! Laptop Errors NOW NO DISPLAY! PLS HELP!

I had a laptop that had a few keys missing and a scratched up case and i eventually decided to strip it down and put the components in a case to act as a desktop computer. I stripped it down to the mobo and hard drive. Then i was going to use some hardware to elevate it a little bit from the wooden case i was going to make. The holes in the mobo where a little too small to slide the hardware in so i drilled them a little bit bigger and put the hardware in. Then i tested everything and got an error for no os detected so while i was moving the assembly around the weight of the hard drive must’ve bent the sata connector on the mobo. I tried the hard drive in a different (not as good) laptop and saw it still booted so it must have been the connector that isn’t good. Well after a bit nothing would even come up on the display when i turned it on, the fan would turn on for a little bit, like 3-5 seconds, then slow and eventually turn of I am so annoyed at myself for possibly wrecking my only decent laptop mobo (motherboard). I don’t have much money as i am only 13 any help would be greatly appreciated. thx!
