hello everyone i am from India
I am VFX graphic designer
i will be moving to Canada/Vancouver for high studies (Vanarts)
Game art & game design
on Sept - 4 - 2018

I want a pretty Good gaming laptop only which can do all my stuff rendering .... and plz do suggest me My choice was Acer predator 17 but 17 inch laptop are big to carry to college so need a 15 inch laptop
Asus , MSI, Acer are best according me if other brands there do tell me

my main need is GPU which as To be GTX 1070

price 2000$ max i can spend i will be buying it in Canada only when i visit


Should i wait for new laptop since i am moving there on September 2018

I don't want to be rude... But there's still a long long time before you go there and the prices my change a lot...

Just a few days ago Intel made an announcement about it's new laptop's line up CPUs with AMD integrated graphics in them, which will come to make newer models thinner and faster as well... So there's no point in suggesting something now if tomorrow there'll be a newer and better version...

So... IMHO wait until the travel date comes closer and ask us again :)

August/September has great, sometimes the best sales for laptops all year. If you could wait until then, you can easily get a GTX 1070 laptop for under $1500

You don't need a laptop now so wait.

Nvidia's "Volta" GPU should be coming out this year; don't know if it will be referred to as "GTX 11 series" or "GTX 20 series". If it is released in late summer / early fall 2018, then expect prices to be high. But that should mean laptops with the current GTX 10 series GPU should go on sale.
