Laptop will probably spend 95%+ percent of time on desk. May occasionally be taken on work/personal trips

Couple of hours. Will be rarely used solely on battery power.

World of Tanks/World of Warships, War Thunder, Battlefield, PubG, Age of Empires

If it is 95% of time on desk I would suggest getting desktop as you can get huge powerhouse for similar price, unless you have projects or official work for which laptop needs to be carried with you when needed.

While at home it will be used 95% of the time at a desk. I do travel for work several times a year and use my personal laptop during this trips.

I've never owned a desktop and l like the flexibility that a laptop offers. In additional I prefer the smaller footprint of a laptop as my current apartment doesn't really have the space I could dedicate to a desktop.
