Hi i currently have sennheiser cx 300 ii earphones and also Sennheiser HD 200 PRO headphones.
The earphones are starting to die due to having them for a while but the headphones are studio ones so there too big and the cables way to long to carry round with me.

i'm looking for something that will produce really good bass and is portable, i dont mind if its earphones or Headphones!

i was leaning towards these:
SoundMAGIC E10 Earphones - Silver/Black - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B005HP3OB0/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

i have read up on them and most people seem to say you will always get better quality with headphones than earphones which is putting me of buying them.

i was also wondering if the Bluetooth earphones are any good?

any links or recommendations are great! Thanks

In a sense I would say the opposite is true in comparative quality, at the $1000 price point what you've read is definite, at your price point not so much. Everyone and their uncle makes products in that range, price isn't an indication of quality, all form factors have equal footing in that range. However, the cost to manufacture a quality in ear, is less then to produce a headphone, and in that way it's easier to get good return on investment on the smaller product when on a budget.

On the higher end it costs three times as much to get the same level of sound, in the convenient In ear size, as from over ear cans, and they are ultimately limited well below larger systems capabilities, not really relevant here though.

Portability is a highly valuable feature, I say go for the E10s, especially if they already have your interest. If you one top choice, great, it is less psychologically tolling then having to wonder if you should have gone for option two, so don't try to find one, yours is a highly respected competitor in its class.

Heyo Shaun98

You could check out KZ's IEM's.
-------------------------------------
ZS5
https://www.amazon.co.uk/KZ-ZS5-Earphones-Monitor-Headsets/dp/B0756WHCV2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1515137325&sr=8-1&keywords=kz+zs5

ZS6
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Yinyoo-Replacement-Headphones-Microphone-Black-no/dp/B0779MRZ45/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1515137346&sr=1-1&keywords=kz+zs6

Replacement cable
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Silver-Upgrade-Earphone-Detachable-Headphones-ZS3-ZS5/dp/B0746FQTCL/ref=pd_sbs_107_15?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=8JC2J1MCWM906YCP9AV4

This cable will improve the overall sound quality of the ZS5's. Don't know about the ZS6's though.

I own the ZS5's myself and I'm very impressed how they perform at this price point. The only really negative thing I can say about them is the comfort. Personally they don't really fit me, but I know friends who uses them as well and say they have a great fit.

Cheers
