So I recently got a new laptop. Its a Asus Zenbook with a Intel core i7-8550U, NVIDIA GeForce MX150, 8GB of 1866MHz LPDDR3 Ram and a 515GB SSD. When I opened this for the first time and installed windows 10, the fans were really loud. At first I thought that this would of been because I was downloading windows. After an hour of doing things on my laptop the fan would still go, and the laptop was very hot. I checked my cpu temp and went into task manager to find I was using 50%+ CPU usage, 30%+ ram usage, 99% disk and 25%+ internet usage with my cpu cores (4 of them) at around 50-100 degrees! This just spikes randomly while not even doing anything. I've literally only used this laptop for about 4 hours. The programs I've installed so far are Steam, 7zip, Avast, Core temp and Google Chrome.

EDIT: so I've found out that its Service Host that is eating up all my usage. How do I disable it? I tried to End Task in task manager but it said, I cant turn it off or windows wont work.

The laptop is brand new? Might be Windows updates, indexing, or other things. I would check to ensure that everything is updated, Steam is done downloading/installing, that sort of thing. After a few reboots it may normalize. If not, you will want to look deeper into the processes to see what's eating up your cycles.

Avast is designed to be very lean on your system and high performance (we're highly rated for this, too!) so if you see any Avast processes behaving abnormally please let us know!
