So I have this is an independent review I have a question. So is the TV Bandit a joke or is it legit? is it for real it claims up to a hundred mile radius by it says 50 or 60 is no big deal and that the fact that I live in Florida flat land is a concern that might be a positive concern and also it claims to pick up your favorite channels to me that means amc, a&e, USA, Fox and other locals Etc..... is this possible with a free T.V. antenna or is this the part they're not telling you? is it just a bunch of crap that you don't really watch and a bunch of Spanish channels that you don't understand that is if you don't speak Spanish. I have been trying to find out specifics on this antenna stuff with or without internet for quite some time and no one seems to have all the answers or maybe they're not willing to give you all the answers I don't know however I am not willing to give up watching the shows that I watch however if I can buy a Roku an antenna or whatever and it be legal and let me watch what I want that's what I want to know bottom line. I can get internet service from CenturyLink here tax title tag out the door with no phone no TV just internet for $39 a month actually 35 dollars a month where I'm currently paying $63 a month for Dish which I don't have a problem with this at all like most do and the fact that I get to watch what I want so give me a lesson on TV today! I want to know the best way to watch TV for the least amount of money being on a fixed income but also being housebound a lot that's one of the few Pleasures in life that I have left need good advice.

You will not get what are considered cable channels with an OTA antenna ( "amc, a&e, USA", etc).

You will only get the networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, CW, PBS) and the many side channels they now broadcast, often multiple duplicate channels from various sources. And you will only get what you are able to pickup and that can vary greatly.

Has anyone tried the TV Bandit? If so Can you get all of the channels? If it was getting all the channel it says why isn't everyone buying one? If it is legitimate seems like the cable companies and satellite companies would go out of business.

Looks like so many other similar products. It is certainly not cutting edge technology.

See here for a review that compares some legit products:
