Solved! Looking for an all-around laptop

Hello, guys! First time here. I have a ROG Asus, the model is g550 jk. So it is getting kind of older. Not know the current market and the technology of the pc parts. So the question is that what is the best all around laptop that I can buy. Ive checked some gaming pc but they are quite expensive. Although I play games, not many them requires heavy specs. It should be 15''. Asus Zenbook looks great but its 13''. Thank you in advance for your helps.

I would look into Lenovo Legion, they have a lot of options, starting from budget friendly to quite powerful. They are not overpriced and don't have the hideous, over-the-top gamer design

If you're wanting something smaller but with a larger screen look at systems with narrow bezel displays as these fit a larger screen into smaller chassis (although typically at a higher price point).

If it's in your budget I would recommend an XPS 15. Up to i7 7700hq, and GTX 1050 will perform very well all-around from working/gaming/media editing/etc. Also has a nice large battery, thin bezel display, aluminum build and comes in 1080p or 4k.

The Lenovo? Can't say I've heard anything about the webcam being an issue, I've never actually used it yet. I'll go fiddle with it now and see if theres any issues.

If you mean the XPS the webcam is at the bottom of the screen as a result of the VERY narrow bezel. For someone like me, who voice chats for work more often it wouldn't be a major issue. But if you plan on using your webcam a fair bit the up-nose angle isn't the greatest.

You were right, apparently lots of Lenovo laptops had an issue with the webcam just displaying a gray screen. I guess this is due to the drivers or something that come with it. Simple fix all I did was uninstall/reinstall the drivers and voila

Haha, I was actually talkin about XPS. Seen couple of videos regarding to this and your image looks weird and all with its webcam. Although youre right, maybe that was a must-do for that type of screen.
