Hi Guys,
i attempt to install a virtual machine on my laptop but it fails stating there is no VT-X / AMD-v enable on my system. as the result i login to my BIOS to enable it but i cannot find such an option to enable. i currently using Window10 and Acer Aspire E15
i wonder if this plateform does not support VirtualMachine but this laptop quite new as compare to my old one which can run Virtual Machine. that is Dell Notebook ....
sorry to say that Acer product having so much restriction & limitation now i realize when i wanna advance my application.
need help urgent else i gonna use back my old noebook

Solution
Did you enable it in virtual box under the settings of your VM ?

as for enabling it on acer laptop bios, it would seem acer has this under a hidden advanced menu which requires you "perform a hex fix" to the bios to enable it then you gain control to that function...l its quite discussed in a few places. on acer.com forums. https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/151267/advanced-bios-settings-for-aspire-e1-522
