I've got a brand new Polaroid 50 inch and I plugged it into my blue ray via the rca cables. But I can't get sound until I turn the tv off then the speakers work great. But turn it back on and the sound disappears . What an i missing?
My guess, is that the bluray is sending audio via HDMI when possible. That is turning off other audio outputs. You may be able to configure that in the bluray player.

What do you call "Blu-ray" - just a BD/DVD player, or "Blu-ray Home theater?"
Does your "Blu-ray" has its own speakers you want to use with the TV programmes?

Polaroid 50 inch series 3 smart led tv.
LG blue ray 3d smart tv. Dlna certified
sjs75, I have put "exact" in bold for a reason. Polaroid is not the best-known brand for TVs, and LG makes hundreds of Home theaters, all labeled "3d".
