I've recently received an alienware m11x from my cousin, it was running windows 7, but i wanted an os that was faster, so i decided to get windows 10 for it. But after it installed and i downloaded my games, they ran so poorly, i couldn't even get Garry's mod to run at 30 fps, a game as simple as STICK FIGHT couldn't run at 30 fps, what's am I doing wrong?

Well I can't tell you to change back to 7 it is totally up to you. 
Me I prefer 7 over 10, but not everyone does.
In regard to the games, well that is going to depend on the specs of the computer compared to the specs of each game. However, having less of your resources used by the OS and anything else that it installs can't hurt.

Installing 10 would make things run slower not faster. 10 uses way more resources and takes up more space.
