I have an RV that has a Dish network receiver with HDMI and coax outputs. The RV is pre-wired with coax that sends the signal from the Dish receiver via coax to the TV's. I would like to have HD to one of the smart TV's however it would be a huge task to remove the ceiling to gain access to the wiring and run a long HD cable to the living room TV.
Is there any type of converter I can use that will convert the RF coax satellite signal coming from the satellite receiver to a HDMI signal to the back of the TV?
Thanks.

Most (all?) TVs these days have antennae input, and this is where coax output from DVR is supposed to go (tune TV to channel 3 or 4). I doubt that this output will carry HD, though.

As for converter - I think most "Digital converters" sold couple of years ago (when TV went digital) will work, but again - I don't think you'll get HD.
