switching devices from amp

Hey guys!

So i bought a set of genius gx gaming 2000 speakers hoping i could be able to plug my headphones in the amp and switch between the speakers themselves and the headphones but if i plug them in the amp it just switches to the headphones automaticly unless I unplug them from the amp.

Any ideas or ways to switch between them?

If your source can drive the headphones directly you could use an audio input selector in reverse to chose.

You would have to modify the speakers and install a switch if you needed the amp in the speakers to drive the headphones, It would void the warranty.
