So, last year my fiancee purchased the HP Beats Special Edition Notebook - 15-p390nr from college. It has an A10-7300 APU, 8GB ram, a 1TB HDD. I've used an A10 before, I've even used an A4 before. Nothing has ever ran as slow as this. It runs even the most basic things at 10 fps or less. Minecraft barely opens, which I use as a base game for all testing due to its graphics optimization options. I've tried every skill I learned in tech school, and can't for the life of me figure out what is wrong with this thing. It takes almost a solid minute to open google chrome, can't run any games whatsoever, and lags while even playing youtube videos. Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this horrendous speed, or should I just cut my losses and attempt to sell it/part it?
