Noise, like interference, seems to occur on all channels intermittently. In addition ch 1 no longer works. Anyone out there have a clue? I see all the pre amps are separated from each other. It's my belief is that supply to these pre amps is where the faults at. PC board repairs look a problem with having to remove 80 of so knobs 30 screws etc.
I am disappointed in this mixer.

Solution
2 separate problems, one of which may be the low voltage DC power supplies.
Would be advisable to go to Mackie service center...or qualified amp tech etc... These type techs are found at music stores.

I go back and have a better look at the schematic for this model and try to establish a common rail voltage for the faults I have described. Tho if I have to dismantle it, I guess it'll be bin job! We don't have that kind of expertise around these parts. I spent 15 years in domestic electronics and I can repair most electronic faults, especially in thos where access is easy!
No more Mackie for me. I'l stick to Yamaha or Roland where access to their teckies is easy.
