Hi,

I’m looking for help with a new setup I’ve acquired. It’s two speaker and an amp.
So far it’s worked great with the two speakers being powered by the amp (Banana Plug to Speakon).
I just have a few questions.
Is the amp I’ve got suitable for the speaker? -(so far it’s working fine)
Can I chain another speaker off my others via the out on the speaker (see pic)?
All Stats below and in photos.

Many thanks,
Matthew

Solution
The amp will handle a 4 ohm load.
if you run two 8 ohm speakers in parallel you will present a 4 ohm load to the amp. I assume that if you use the speakon out that is runs them in parallel. If not then just run the second pair from the amp terminals.
Your speakers are rated at 300w rms each and the amp will do 500w at 4 ohms so you will have a bit less than the max the speakers can handle. Won't make much difference to how loud you can play them.
