Solution
Try installing the hybrid HDD a couple of times. Be careful with connections and make sure you're not carrying static (grab a solid piece of metal like a kitchen faucet).

If the laptop is still unresponsive, press the small button right next to the power button (it's called the Novo button). This will bring up a very basic menu with these options:

- Normal Startup
- BIOS Setup
- Boot Menu
- System recovery

You can start by selecting BIOS Setup to see if the hard disk shows up. While you're in the BIOS menu, select 'Load default settings' under the Exit tab. Press F10 and proceed to Windows. If Windows doesn't launch, then you need to re-install Windows.

You can do this either by using a bootable USB drive or by launching a system...

NOTE: Whichever you choose, you will lose everything!

Best of luck,
