Help deciding on gaming laptop

I purchased 2 dell laptops for my sons Christmas present and I don't know which one is better, can some one help me?

Except for the nVidia graphics, they seem identical including the CPU. If it's all the same to you, price-wise, I think your son will prefer the 6GB 1060 card over the 4GB 1050 card.

This 1060 card is usually listed as the minimum requirement for running VR applications.

Price difference was about $50
 
Not knowing how old - and tech-savvy - your son is, I'll assume that he knows the difference between a powerful 1050 card and a more powerful 1060 card that is also VR-ready. I'd say it's definitely worth the extra $50 - I mean, it's Christmas, right?
