My home theater system only has HDMI Output. How do I connect it with my TV and PS4?

Hello,

I badly need your help on guiding me connect my smart television and gaming console with the home theater system.

The television has 3 HDMI (Input/ARC/DVI), 1 Optical & RCA. Console has 1 HDMI (Input) & 1 Optical. Home theater system has 1 HDMI (Output) & RCA. Lastly, the cable box which is also using HDMI. I even bought a HDMI selector but I'm not sure if I got the wrong one or using it wrong.

Any help is deeply appreciated, thank you!

Thank you for the links.
The HTS only has a stereo analog audio input. That will limit you to analog surround sound.
Connect the PS4 Pro, cable box, and the HTS to the TV with HDMI cables.
Connect the optical audio output of the TV to an optical to analog converter.

Connect the optical to analog converter to the aux input of the HTS.
Check the TV manual on how to use the optical audio out. You may need to turn it on, turn the TV speakers off, and change the audio output type to PCM if the optical to analog converter will not accept a 5.1 input.
