I can’t get a picture to show up when I play a show from my phone to my tv. Everything else works great but when the show comes on there is no picture just sound. What am I doing wrong.

Make sure what you are using to play the video and the video itself has access to play on an external device. Some things are prevented from playing on an external screen.
