Lenovo Yoga 3-1470.

So I plugged in a USB mouse to use and after unplugging it, my keyboard and touch-pad mouse have severe choppiness. When I plug the USB mouse back in, the mouse is smooth but the touch-pad and keyboard continue to act up.

I reinstalled windows 10 and it was working normal again for a short while but then back to it.

I tried booting in safe mode and that works as it should, no choppiness.
Next I tried a clean boot and this went back to not working.

Any thoughts, this is driving me crazy. Took twice as long to type this since the keyboard misses so man key presses.

Yes I tried this. Downloaded the one from Lenovo website.

I uninstalled the current drivers and installed the new one and reset computer. Same thing.

Yes, both external keyboard and mouse work fine. I think I might of figured it out.
When I disable "Intel USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller - 1.0" or "USB Root Hub (USB 3.0)" the problem goes away. Disabling the controller disables everything though so that makes sense. The problem must be the "USB Root Hub (USB 3.0)".

I do not see any driver on lenovos website for that.

Try just using "Device Manager" to get a new driver. If you open the "Universal Serial Bus Controllers" section and then right click on the "USB Root Hub" that is the problem (sometimes you can have more than one) and then choose "Update Driver Software" from the popup list.

It says its the best one available when I do that. It's frustrating because bluetooth doesn't work when the USB hub is disabled either.
Any other ideas?
