Pls I had power issue with toshiba satellite P750. It turns off within 20 minutes of cold booting. I sent it to repairs and the repairer told me after doing the work the processor has changed from i7 to i3. Pls is that possible? And if yes how?

Short answer: NO.
Long answer: Core i3 CPUs are physically different from Core i7 CPUs. So the only way for the CPU to have "changed" from a Core i7 to a Core i3 is if that repair tech physically switched out the CPUs. In fact,

So, what you should do is first, take a note of your exact model number (or, using the serial number, verify on Toshiba's customer support website the exact specifications, including the CPU model #). Then, take this information...

So, what you should do is first, take a note of your exact model number (or, using the serial number, verify on Toshiba's customer support website the exact specifications, including the CPU model #). Then, take this information (preferably in print form) back to the repair shop. Show them the printout & tell them you want them to explain how they managed to repair your laptop while changing its specifications. If they insist that, "that's just what happens to old CPUs", then demand that they open the laptop back up so that they can show you the CPU on the motherboard...because Intel clearly marks on them what type they are (i3, i5, i7, etc.). If they don't want to do it, ask to speak to the supervisor or manager.
