Sound is too loud and speech is low, have to keep changing up and down, very frustrating. Is there a fix?

When we are watching the tv the music is very loud so we have to turn it down, but when we do this we cannot hear speech, so have to turn audio up. Very annoying; is there a fix?

CHeck your TV' audio settings menu, for settings like "Movie", "Standard" etc. Try changing these.

TVs have tiny low quality speakers usually facing the floor.
Adding a good quality soundbar or soundbase can give you greater clarity and overall better sound, Most soundbars are just bad sounding.
The Cambridge Audio TV2 might work for you,
