Okay so I've found a deal, trying to determine if it's worth it. I'm not looking to play games at Ultra, but I do edit video, 1080p 60fps mostly but I do some 4k.

Model: MSI GT70 ONE

i7 3630MQ

16gb DDR3 1600

2x 64gb m2 SSDs in raid 0

750gb HDD

GTX 680m 4gb GDDR5

I found one for $275

That's pretty impressive! I guess my main concern would be how many years it might have until some vital piece of hardware just up and quits. How has your luck with "Gaming" Laptops been?

Also, I do have a desktop too, so this wouldn't be my main computer.

In my experience, the GPUs crap out in gaming laptops. Mostly ATI, though. It wouldn't hurt to re-paste things when you get it (it may have thermal pads for GPU).

Intel CPUs are fairly hard to kill.
