If the button is actually the problem (turning off doesn't mean it is), then you would have to get it replaced.

If the laptop is still under warranty, contact the manufacturer and they can fix whatever is the actual cause. If it isn't under warranty, then you can try and do the work yourself, or take it to a local tech.
