My lg magic remote control cursor and OK botton is not working but other bottons are working. Pls any solution to it?

Solution
Being probably the most used button(s) not at all unusual to have a failure.

Sometimes a new battery will provide a fix, albeit temporary perhaps. New battery overcomes some threshold being caused by a failing button/switch - or other related issue.

Check the following link:

http://www.lg.com/us/remotes

Look for the applicable Owner's Manual - see if there are any troubleshooting options.

Check your warranty options if any....

My remote is brand new just out of the box and the pointer doesn't show up. I did everything I can think of and have been told to do by an LG tech and still nothing. Everything else so far does work though. TV is (75UJ6470-UC), <- on the back label. Remote is an (AN-MR650A). The answer given here does not help at all, has anyone figured this out?

Do try known working batteries.

Be sure you programmed the remote correctly.

Some of the pre-packaged batteries are very poor quality. I always replace the shipped batteries within a couple of weeks. Especially if the brand is unknown. Have had some start corroding and leaking very quickly once put into use.

There are two options: TV receiver is not working or the remote is not working.

Try a generic remote - any remote at all just to determine if the TV is responding in any manner.

If the remote can be proven as not to work under any circumstances then the remote may be DOA.

Try the remote on other LG TV's - prove that the remote works.

Then the TV may be the culprit.

Then return (RMA) the TV and/or remote to the seller.

I had the same problem with my cursor not displaying but every other buttons worked fine on my new LG OLED TV. I discovered quite by accident that if you are using the "Audio Assist" function, THE CURSOR DISPLAY IS DISABLED BY DEFAULT! This info does NOT appear in any of the TV or Magic Remote user manuals or tutorials, but a brief caption is displayed whenever you "uncheck" this function. Today I contacted LG via their chat service to inform them of this missing information. Hope this helps
