I am trying to factory reset my dell laptop running Windows 10 but it just keeps telling me theres not enough space to do it. I'm really All Things Tech-y illiterate so I did what I think is clean out everything I believe I could uninstall and clean and didn't touch system apps and whatnot( I shouldn't touch those, correct?)and yet it's still telling me there's not enough space! I bought this thing almost a year ago and have not touched it because 3 days after buying it and playing some games and stuff and letting the kids mess with it it started to run super slow...it takes about 2 minutes to load a page on my browser! So I'm hoping cleaning it will help so I can use it. I'm at a loss of what more I can do to get more space or something. Can anyone help me in a Computer For Dummys step-by-step way? Please!!!

According to the Dell website, here is how you would perform a factory reset:

1. At the desktop, click the Search the web and Windows box and type "reset"
2. Select Reset this PC (System Setting)
3. Under Advanced Startup, select Restart Now
4. At the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot
5. Select Factory Image Restore
6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the reset process. This will take some time and your computer will restart.

Hope this helps!

Performing a factory reset means that you are taking everything: every file, program, etc. that you have installed or any changes you have made to programs already on the machine. This doesn't sound like what you are wanting to do. As for the space issue, are you getting a message saying your hard drive is out of space when you attempt to add new programs?

Your browser taking 2 minutes to load a page sounds like there are multiple addons or toolbars that have been added to the browser. What browser are you using?
