I have a TCL 32S305 32-Inch 720p Roku Smart LED TV (2017 Model) and a Sandisk 16GB 2.0 Flash Cruzer Glide USB Drive (SDCZ60-016G-B35) and a Seagate external drive. According to everything I've read one or both of these can be connected to the TV however the shape of the ports do not confirm this. The ports have curved sides and the drives are squared. I am really perplexed by this because I cannot find anything else anywhere about this and buying a new drive looks like it will be the same. What am I missing? Thanks.

The Seagate needs more power than a single USB port can deliver. The second port is for power. You could use a USB wall charger.
There should be some documentation for the drive that corresponds to my assessment. The "non-standard" ports are probably USB3 ports of some type.
Pictures would help to better identify what you have.

I am able to connect the jump drive but not the Seagate, it has a small flat connector and a large flat connector. I Think I need a cord with 2 large flat connectors. I also have a Tablo, it came with a cord that has 2 square plastic connectors. There is nothing like that on the TV at all. It looks like I can connect with 2 large flat USB connections.

All of the cords I have are the ones with a large flat and a small flat. The Seagate and the Tablo and the TV all want large flat so none of them fit.
