How do a hook up my R-S202 to my TV and cable box?

I am trying to hook up my R-S202 to my TV, the TV is connected a cable box with an HDMI cord, the receiver does not have HDMI capability. I can’t get any sound out of my receiver.

If the TV has a headphone jack or analog audio out use that.
If the cable box has analog audio out then connect the receiver to that.
If the TV has optical audio out you will need an optical to analog converter. Check the TV manual on how to configure the TV to use it.
