I would say to look into the second one (with the Core i5-7300HQ).

Although you are getting a Core i5 vs a Core i7 (which really matters to some people, the specs, not the name really matters) you are getting significantly better graphics and load times. Let me explain- the first choice only has a painfully slow 5400 rpm hard drive. Just having this store your OS makes boot-up times very slow. Having Windows on a 128GB SSD will increase the speed of loading/startup significantly- about 5 to 10 times faster. However, having the 1TB hard drive for storage is great. In addition, the Core i7's hyperthreading will make it outperform the i5, but not enough to recommend it over the laptop with a better GPU.

About that 1060...

Even though these are both mobile versions of already incredibly powerful GPU's, they do pack a punch. Expect for the second laptop (the one with the gtx1060) to get around 40-60 FPS faster than the 1050Ti, which alone is a major selling point.


One more thing- how much RAM do these laptops have? Although it isn't a major factor, you may want to make sure you have enough RAM for heavy workloads (I would recommend 8GB or above).
