Too little information Barry. If you post your video card model/manufacturer and MB model/manufacturer, someone may have a solution or troubleshooting tips for you.
Without that information, the only thing to suggest atm is hard cycle the power for the computer AND display (unplugged, no power at all). Check all cable connections. Repower the devices. Make sure your display is set to accept the appropriate input. Then attempt to boot the computer with the appropriate cable. This applies to your HDMI to HDMI connection. Adapters can be problematic and require a specific adapter depending on video output capabilities of the chipset..

Not asking for a video Barry. Asking for you to post the NAME and MODEL of your computer motherboard and video card. If you are using motherboard integrated graphics and no graphics card, that is also relevant. If you are using an all-in-one computer, then the manufacturer name and specific model and number.
Can we also assume that the tv works when connected to a different source? (cable tv box, dvd player, game console, etc) Anything that will output a signal to test the inputs of the tv.
