Every time I go to my country house and then come back home, my pc connects to the wifi, but still doesn't have internet, I spend hours trying to fix it and then suddenly it works again. It only happens with my pc, not other devices. Troubleshooter says "the connection between your access point, router or cable modem and the Internet is broken"

Solution
Not always. If the modem/router is losing signal. Which can be because of it or because of the ISP, then each device will react differently. It can be all of them that don't auto reconnect or just one. More often than not it is is a computer that doesn't auto reconnect.
Sounds like a modem/router issue to me, but try this...

Try this....

1. Go to "Control Panel".

2. Next go to "Network and Internet" and then "Network and Sharing".

3. Now click on "Manage Wireless Networks".

4. On this screen, remove all wireless connections by "right clicking" on it and select "Remove network" from the drop down menu.

5. After doing this, close the open windows and reboot the computer.

6. Once the computer is fully reloaded, scan for the "Wi-Fi networks".

7. Click on the available network that you want to access and select "connect".

8. It takes a moment, but then you will be asked to give a password for your Wi-Fi connection. Type in the password and click the "connect" button.

It should now be connected.

NOTE: If this doesn't work, you may want to reset your modem/router, and then once it is fully loaded again, repeat the above steps.

I’ve had internet service for 19 years. I have found that there were internet server problems in most of the cases when I couldn’t connect. Those tech people wil have you change all sorts of settings, when there isn’t any problem with your settings, equipment, or software. You are taking a risk by changing a setting. There are rare instances of cables not connected properly. Most times I’ve found connection issues. are a SERVER problem.
